Did you know that beauty schools are active in government affairs? I didn’t either. I’ve always thought it would be cool to go to beauty school to do some work on the side, but I’ve never actually pursued it. Maybe I should. But before I do, it seems like there’s a ton of info I didn’t know!

I think researching is one of the most important steps in the application process. This goes for any type of school, including beauty school. There’s such a plethora of information out there – some good and some bad – that can really help you understand what you’re thinking about. Think about it: someone has been in your shoes before. Perhaps they’ve shared their story online somewhere. The probability is pretty high that you will be able to find some nice and helpful information.

There are so many beauty schools out there with different requirements in hours, pre-reqs, and cost. The important thing to remember is to choose the school that fits best with your personality and goals. And in the meantime, you can check out 15 things you (and I) didn’t know about beauty school!
