Ain’t No Party Like a Spa Party
I went to a spa party the other day. It was so much fun! Getting pampered and partying it up are things I love to do, so this was right up my alley.
The event was held at a friend’s house and the girls who do this have done a few parties before. What they like to do is show you all the products by the particular line they represent and give you a little preview of why these would be great products for you to use. Of course it’s one of those parties that results in you making some purchases, but I totally felt like they were great ones! Some of the things I got to try are just perfect for our spa and beauty professionals. Let’s check out the goodies:
For rough, winter hands: we used an intense scrub and followed it up with a silky, soothing lotion. My hands felt so smooth afterward and my cuticles were singing my praises! This kind of product would be perfect for a nail technician to use on any client, especially those who work with their hands a lot or may wear gloves in their career.
For dry and achy feet: we began with a scrub and followed it up with two different lotions. Since we were trying to see which we liked better, we had one lotion on each foot. One was more of a peppermint, cooling lotion, while the other was more of a typical moisturizer. We wrapped up our feet and put socks on for the whole two hours of the party. My feet felt great after and I thought that this would be great when getting a pedicure!
For the deprived face: a green mask of mud and volcanic ash gave us necessary vitamins and nutrients, cleared up problem areas, and created a smooth face. Any esthetician or makeup artist will tell you the importance of moisturizing and exfoliating your face.
Those were the main parts of the spa party. It was a really good time. Any of these products may be used by your spa or beauty professional at the salon. So why not get some products to use at home. I can be my own professional from time to time. As for me, I scooped up a nice salt scrub and it feels great in the shower. Can’t wait until my next party!
