Freezing temperatures have arrived and all I can think about is Spring! One of my favorite aspects of the warm season has nothing to do with the weather… it’s the fashion that I love! And, since fashion starts at the very top of your head, spring 2012 hair trends are going to be F-U-N!
Flat hair is OUT! Put down the flat iron and pick up the hot rollers… big hair is making a BIG comeback. There is something about having Bridget Bardot locks that instantly adds a pep in your stiletto step! When achieving this look, try blow drying hair upside down then sectioning off your hair into hot rollers. To finish up, add a spritz of light hair spray while your hair is flipped upside down and do NOT add serum — that can weigh your voluminous locks down.
Spring is all about color! This season, add some color to your locks in a peek-a-boo way. Only a few streaks of color will do, and placement is key. Stick to adding color closer to the nape of the neck. This way it isn’t too in your face. For those of you who can’t commit to have a streak or two of candy colored tresses, go old school and purchase a clip in! But remember, don’t be too matchy-matchy, and keep it funky!
