Do I need a high school diploma or GED to get into beauty school?

Hi Diana, That's a great question! To pursue any type of higher education, including nail technician studies, students generally should first have their high school diploma or GED. There are also some high school programs that may teach nail technician studies. Licensing requirements (which usually require a certain number of hours of study) vary by state, however, so check with your local government for particular requirements.
