biofeedback is dependent upon the patient and their own body. It relies upon improving the health of patients by helping them understand their bodies. Biofeedback is a form of Alternative Medicine that tends to help those who suffer from migraines and muscle spasms. It has also been used as a treatment for children who suffer from ADD and ADHD. The results on these type of patients have been mixed.

Students at biofeedback schools usually take general science classes, such as anatomy, physiology, and biology. Later on they'll take more advanced and specific biofeedback courses that will teach them how to relate to their patient and properly treat them through this form of alternative medicine.
